The 14/16 represents the 14mm/16mm core thickness available for this paddle. A 14mm core gives you an even larger sweet spot than commonly seen 11mm paddles, without having to sacrifice power. A 16mm core gives you the ultimate paddle for net play and control in the kitchen.
